16 hours Weekend Day Recovery Support Worker Role:
You will be working within a hostel supporting clients within our Offenders scheme.
Your role will consist of providing a welcoming service to all hostel service user and other callers, to support and encourage each Service User to maintain a clean and safe environment and with practical life skills. You will need to manage the immediate support needs, sometimes providing crisis intervention. You will spend time talking to the service user and provide informal support and motivation.
You will be responsible for the building maintenance checks and visitor policy.
It is essential that you will have a non-judgemental and supportive approach to assisting Offenders and vulnerable adults, and have experience and knowledge of Health, Housing and Work issues facing service users.
Saturday – Sunday
Shifts vary between early shifts or late shifts.
We have the following pay grades:
The ENTRY LEVEL position rate will start at £9.10 per hour rising to £9.86 per hour after completion of probationary period and training programme.
The EXPERIENCED Day Recovery Support Worker will be £9.86 per hour.
